San Antonio is the seventh most populous city in the United States and second in Texas with more than 1.5 million residents. San Antonio features a contrast of long history and rapid growth. San Antonio is the county seat for Bexar County. The greater metro area has a population of more than 2.5 million people. 

Bosque De Las Lomas is located in the Northeast area of San Antonio. Outdoor activities are popular with nearby access to walking trails, parks, and Salado Creek. Major shopping such as Walmart, H.E.B., and Lowe's are nearby. The area also has easy access to restaurants. The Fort Sam Houston Joing Base is close by as well as elementary and middle schools.

The San Antonio Zoo, Brackenridge Park Golf Course, San Antonio Botanical Gardens, Splashtown, and the San Antonio Airport are all close by as well.
